This programme is for young people from Rhondda Cynon Taff, between 16-24 years of age, both male and female, interested in developing dance and leadership skills as well as volunteering with RCTCA. Its suitable for those interested in developing a career in teaching, community work, youth work and sports. Previous dance experience is required.
Rhondda Cynon Community Arts (RCTCA) is providing the Sports Leaders UK Dance Award that will take place during half term: Monday 25th – Friday 29th October 2010, 9.30am – 4.30pm daily Trainees will then be required to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours with one or more of our varied weekly dance sessions under our GuideDance Youth Dance Volunteer Programme. We will be offering 18 Trainee Dance Volunteers this opportunity free of charge thanks to funding from GwirlVol StreetGames. Pre-enrolment is required for the course.
