With more than three million obese people in the UK, MEND and National Obesity Forum have teamed up this year to create National Childhood Obesity Week. This year, Move It Week will take the UK by storm and encourage kids to take part in fun, physical activity!

A lot of people probably don't realise how serious childhood obesity can be for the wellbeing and future welfare of a child. Name-calling, physical abuse and mental abuse are just three things that they grow up with. This, in turn, can lead to depression and lack of confidence in future life. Think how stressful that would be for them. For the sake of exercising a few times a week and cutting out certain foods, it can make a massive difference to their lives.

So, help get the word out about this great event and help to change a child's life!
