There are lots of ways to get around depending on where you going and how you want to get there.

There are many types but buses and trains are the main forms of public transport between places. There are even holidays you can go on based around a type of transport, for example inter-railing around Europe.

Safety is important when using transport especially if you are travelling alone so always make sure you know transport times and that someone knows where you are going.

Keep you personal belongings on you or in a safe place whilst you travel and if something goes missing report it straight away.
