Peter Elliott: Goes to America! (Part 1)
Stormy weather rattled the windows of my home early one morning in mid-November.
I was getting ready to fly over to the other side of the world. Forgetting about the C.S.A. Forgetting about school and forgetting about this horrible weather we were having.
"Peter? Are you ready yet, we'll miss our flight!" shouted my mother.
"In a minute, mum!" I replied, whilst making sure that I had packed everything into my suitcase.
We quickly left the house and drove to Cardiff airport where we checked in and waited for our flight.
Everything was going well!
"Can passengers on flight BA7252 please make your way to gate 5 and prepare to board your flight," came over the tannoy and that was us!
We got up, showed the tickets and made our way to our seats.
"Right up there," said the cabin crew member to the person infront.
I showed her my ticket and before she could say anything I said, "Let me guess, straight up there?"
"Well done!" she laughed.
We waited a few moments and the flight started to take off, the safety procedures were shown and we took off!
The seat-belt sign had been switched off so I burst out of my seat and quickly scuffled to the toilet.
What a relief...
I walked back to my seat to find a Chinese-looking crew member offering my mother some beverages, this brought me back to reality and reminded me that I can never be sure that I am safe with a job like the one I have.
"Ah, and this must be your son?" he asked.
"Can I help you?" I replied.
"Would you like a drink?" he replied, showing the fakest smile I had ever come across.
"No," I sharply replied.
As he left our seating area my mother turned to me - "A bit rude to him then, weren't you?"
"Not really," I replied.
7 hours had passed and it was time for our meal.
The same crew member came to us and asked if any of us were vegetarian.
"Yes. I am," I replied, with a little arrogance.
"Please come with me to get your meal, we have no room on the trolley," he said.
"Of course," I said whilst getting up to follow him.
'Be prepared, Peter. Be prepared,' was running through my head as we walked down the aisle.
As we got to the end of the aisle, the crew member turned around quickly and whispered to me "Do you have a problem with me... Sir'?!?" He asked this with such arrogance I thought I should do the same.
"What do you think, wise guy?!? Whatever you're planning, just give it u-" He grabbed my head and two other hitmen came out of nowhere and grabbed me.
"Nobody to help you this time, You're done for Peter." Laughed the C.S.A agent. before knocking me to the ground...
