The Wedding of the year!
Every girls dream is to marry a prince, the Prince Charming from all of the stories and tales, the dream of Prince Charming riding over the hill on his white horse and both living happily ever after together in a castle.
One 28 year old girl, Kate Middleton has certainly had her dream come true. She will marry Prince William on the 29th of April which has also been declared as a bank holiday. This is the wedding and event of the year. This is a Royal Wedding, and so, not like any other weddings where couples may get married abroad under the warm sun on a lovely golden sand beach with the blue clear sea calm and gentle rippling over the sand with the sun then setting for the evening. Others may decide last minute and hurry of to Las Vegas. Or, couples may decide to get married in a Registry office or may get married in the more traditional way and have a Church wedding.
Couples will plan and plan for months in advance for their special day, loads of time, money and energy will be spent on just one day. One day, but a day that they, and their families will remember for the rest of their lives. The day they say “I do” is undoubtedly the most special occasion of any couples lives.
These types of wedding are a private occasion for the couples families and friends to enjoy, the beginning of their lives together as a married couple. I doubt many would advertise the day on the internet or in the paper for anyone to attend I doubt neither they would have media coverage nor their day broadcast on the news.
Well with Price William and Kate Middleton, this is exactly what they will have. Everyone will gather and celebrate the special day with them. Many streets in Rhondda Cynon Taff have applied for their street to be closed off for them to have a street party to celebrate the occasion.
Wicid.tv would like to know if you’re planning a party for the wedding of the year. Do you know if your street is going to be closed? Let us know what you’ll be doing on the 29th of April 2011 or do you know someone who will also be getting married on the same day as Prince William and Kate Middleton?

I only know of one street party that might be happening in Pentre. Oh, and the Parc Hall in Cwmparc are apparently having a coffee morning of some sort. I don't think many people care about it up where I live. I know my street won't do anything because there's alot of people who will want to visit family on their day off and the rest of the street are too lazy! haha. x
