This weekend presented another great weekend of football matches throughout the Premiership, the Championship and Leagues 1 and 2.

In the Barclays Premier League, leaders Chelsea suffered another set back, losing 1-0 away at Birmingham, with the only goal coming from Lee Bowyer. Second placed Arsenal failed to capitalize on the chance to go top though, as they let a two goal lead slip to lose 3-2 at home to their fiercest rivals Tottenham. Goals from Nasri and Chamakh gave Arsenal a two goal lead, but goals from Bale, van der Vaart and Kaboul, left Tottenham heading home with the three points. Manchester United overtook Arsenal for second place with a 2-0 home win over Wigan Athletic, thanks to goals from Patrice Evra and Javier Hernandez.

The other Premier League results:

Blackpool 2-1 Wolves
Bolton 5-1 Newcastle
Liverpool 3-0 West Ham
West Brom 0-3 Stoke

There are new leaders in the npower Championship as Cardiff City lost 2-0 at home to Nottingham Forest, through goals from Lewis McGugan and Dexter Blackstock. QPR are the new leaders after they beat Preston 3-1 at Loftus Road.
