Review: We Will Rock You

After going to see ‘We Will Rock You’ I can now honestly appreciate the brilliance that is Queen. Every aspect of the show was fantastic, the singers and the actors were amazing, but also the backing dancers, who I feel never have enough recognition. They moved with such brilliant timing I could have actually believed they were robots! It was an enthralling story with some hilarious lines. The best part for me must have been the song ‘We Will Rock You’ in which the whole audience got involved and the Millennium Centre felt electric!

‘We Will Rock You’ is a seriously incredible show, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a bit of rock, however, Justin Bieber fans, stay away!

‘With Ben Elton’s trademark wit and Queen’s biggest hits, We Will Rock You is a story that speaks to the very heart of rock ’n’ roll and a show that delivers the kind of scale and spectacle that marked the band’s legendary live performances.

We Will Rock You includes 24 of Queen’s biggest hits, belting across the stage, including Radio Gaga, Somebody to Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, Under Pressure, Another One Bites The Dust, We Are the Champions and of course the title song.’

‘We Will Rock You’ is showing from at the Wales Millennium Centre from 8th March – 17th April 2011 and is starring our very own Rhydian Roberts.
