This tool set of 235 pieces is a great way to start off a career as a mechanic or a builder. After having a week’s work experience in the South Wales Fire & Rescue Service workshop I am now determined to become an apprentice at the workshop.
Then one day I saw an advertisment in the newspaper, ‘Selling a dynamic tool chest for £50 at Halfords’. I immediately got down to the shop to buy the tool chest.
My overall opinion on the style is that its red and has smooth edges so that you don’t scratch or catch yourself on the box. The tool chest contains 235 pieces which is made up of ratchets, plyers, screwdrivers, spaners and various bolt attachments. The box also has a lot of space to put bits and bobs on top of the tools which are stored in a foam, this is good because if you are carrying the box around then the tools won’t come loose.
When I opened the box, the box and the tools where separate. It then took 30-40 minutes to insert the tools.
The only thing I don’t like about the dynamic tool chest is that no locks come with it. Ithas lock fittings but no locks, so I then had to go out and buy a set of locks which cost around £2 – £5.
I would definitely recommend this box of tools if you are just starting and don’t want to spend too much money on what could just be an option. This would also be good for people who have DIY hobbies.
