A rich history of glory and winning. However, no championships since 2008 and Ferrari’s ‘radical’ 2012 car shows no signs of ending that barren run.<?xml:namespace prefix =” o” ns =” “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”” />

Ferrari like many other teams is one of the teams who have adopted the ‘stepped-nose’ design to gain aerodynamic performance along with complying with the safety regulations of Formula 1 this year, even though many people have described it as being the ugliest Ferrari ever and also as being made of Lego. However Ferrari have lacked serious pace during the pre-season testing in <?xml:namespace prefix =” st1″ ns =” “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”” />Jerez and Barcelona. This proves to be worrying for the many millions of Ferrari fans across Italy and the rest of the world.

Sky Sports F1 HD commentator and former Formula 1 driver Martin Brundle has described the “Ferrari as being radical however they seem to have pushed a little too hard.” He follows by saying that “It seems to be lacking traction and overall down force in the corners as Alonso and Massa seem to be struggling to get the power down exiting the corners.”

Ferrari’s chief Technical Director Pat Fry has publically come out on response to the question “Do you think a podium finish is possible in Australia?” by replying “I’d like to think so but at the moment, I would have to say no.”

So, to all Ferrari fans reading this article, unfortunately, your team is not confident, heading into the first round of the championship in Melbourne, Australia.
