BBoy dancers from across the Globe will once again bring their formidable talent to Rhondda Cynon Taf, as Ya Don’t Stop returns for 2012.

The international competition is being hosted in The Muni, Pontypridd, by the Council’s Cultural Services Team, in partnership with Elemental Force and will see the best B Boy dancers on the planet competing for the 2012 Young Blood and Burnout title.

This year, for the first time ever, organisers have also joined forces with the Wales Millennium Centre, which will offer you the chance to enjoy a three-day master class canp with some of the stars of the competition – making Ya Don’t Stop 2012 a four-day extravaganza overall!

Cllr Robert Bevan, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Development, Leisure and Tourism, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to welcome BBoy talent from across the world to Rhondda Cynon Taf. They are the best in their field and will be competing for this global title in our very own Muni, of which we are very proud.

“This year’s event is tailored especially to allow younger residents to engage with and experience this cultural phenomenon first-hand, while also giving the elite the chance to represent in the ultimate BBOY Jam.

“This is a great chance for young people to witness a culture that has so many positive outcomes – from improving confidence, self-esteem and individuality to gaining respect!”
