Voices from Care was set up 1990 to help young people who are or have been looked after in Wales to have their voices heard and to support young people to ensure they are given their rights. Their aim is to create opportunities for all young people who are or have been looked after in Wales, making sure that they can have a say on the issues that really matter to them. Their aim is also to provide opportunities to improve the conditions of being in care, promoting the view of young people and protecting the interests of young people in care.
VFC is run by people who are, or have been looked after.

Advice and Support

Voices from Care provide an Advice and Support service for young people who are or have been looked after in Wales. This is generally individual support given by their Advice and Support team on a wide range of problems, issue and concerns that effect many young people who have been in care.

Various young people can go to Voices from Care for advice and support about decisions being made about their lives, family, bullying issues and other issues in relation to where they live and social work involvement. VFC can also support and advise young people who are ready to leave care or have just left care, if they have issues in relation to education, housing, benefit and even homelessness.

The service also has access to counseling sessions
You will find the service very friendly. They can give advice and listen to your problems and also help you to contact other agencies if required.
