Taff Ely has a family intervention team which aims to work with children and young people between the ages of 0-25 and their families as an early intervention service where emotional, behavioural or mental health concerns are rising or for those who feel they may benefit from extra support within the family.
The T.E.F.I.T (Taff Ely Family Intervention Team) consists of a project co-ordinator, therapist and family support workers and can offer an allocated worker to support families, work alongside other agencies to identify a key worker who will co-ordinate services which meets the identified needs of the child and family, create a solution-focused intervention which may work alongside the other services or on a 1:1 basis, and it can also give advice, information guidance, sign posting, empowerment, parenting support/programmes, group work, practical support, therapy, emotional support, skills development and confidence and self esteem building.

Referrals can be made by any professionals working with children, young people and families.
