Are you interested in your local environmental problems? Would you like to show support for your local community?
Well if so, Bodringallt Youth Centre are hosting an event on Wednesday the 18th September which they would love for you to attend. During the night they will be offering an insight into, and an official launch of, the project ‘Dig4health’. ‘Dig4health’ has already undertaken and organised several litter picks around the area of Ystrad and is continually trying to create funding so there will be community growing spaces for young people, local community members and the children of Bodringallt Primary School to grow fresh fruit and vegetables.
The event will showcase the achievements of ‘Dig4health’ so far and will hopefully gain a wide variety of new support and interest. During this exciting event there will be visitors from many different services across RCT and Wales such as Rhondda Fire Service, South Wales Police, British Transport Police, Army, Chwarae Plant and many more.
Also, Wicid will be taking photos of the event so make sure you keep an eye out for us. This event will be great for you to come along and gather information on what people are trying to do to improve your local community.
