Wales International Young Artist Award 2014

Young artists across Wales are being urged to show off their creative skills by entering for the Wales International Young Artist Award.

The winner of the award will scoop a £500 prize plus an exhibition of their work.

The competition is organised by British Council Wales and the theme this year, in the centenary of his birth, is Dylan Thomas and entries must reflect, interpret or be inspired by his work.

Artists, aged between 17 and 25, can choose to enter work from a range of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, printmaking, drawing or film.

Deadline for submission is 26 September 2014.
