Big or small, fluffy or not, dumb or smart dogs; we all love them so celebrate National Dog Day this year as today (26th of August) is a day dedicated to man’s best friend.
This day gives us an opportunity to value all that our canine friends do for us. Whether it’s a spotty dalmatian (the fire-fighting dog), a labrador providing its services for the blind or just the good old family dog keeping us company – our dogs all do something for us.
What does your dog do for you ?
There are a number of things you could do to celebrate National Dog Day, whether it be taking your dog to a spa, getting matching t-shirts, a nice long walk or adopting a dog from a rescue centre.
National Dog Day’s number 1 supporter is the National Dog Day Foundation, supporting dogs from unethical backyard breeders and puppy mills.
Why don’t you send in pics of your dogs in creative costume and situations?!
