The Health and Social Care Committee for theNational Assembly for Wales has launched a new Public Health(Wales) Bill and are currently completing an inquiry to gathering theviews of people living in Wales, including any young people who might be interested in completing the questionnaire.
ThePublic Health (Wales) Bill sets out proposals for legislation that aim to havea positive impact on the health and wellbeing of people living in Wales. Itcovers a range of public health issues, including: action to reduce the harm topeoples health caused by smoking; banning the use of e-cigarettes in enclosedplaces; and introducing an age restriction on intimate body piercings.
