YEPS Online Activity Booking System Enters Second Phase

Last summer we announced the launch of the YEPS digital booking system and following a successful trial with three schools, we enter 2018 with four additional schools participating in the system.

The schools currently with access to the YEPS online booking system are YG Garth Olwg, Pontypridd High, Tonyrefail School, Mountain Ash Comp, YG Rhydywaun, Treorchy Comp and YG Cwm Rhondda.

In order to access the booking system, young people must register an account on www.wicid.tv – once there, simply click the ‘Register’ button in the top-right corner and complete the form.

The system uses a shopping cart format where young people can add the activities they would like to participate in a basket. When they are ready to proceed, the young person will need to enter a valid email address of a parent or guardian in order for a consent form to be sent. Following a parent or guardian’s completion of the online consent form, which will have been sent to their email address, the young person’s place on their respective activities will be confirmed.

If there are young people and/or their parents/guardians without internet access, their school’s Youth Engagement Officer will provide the young person with a paper copy of a consent form. Young people can check the status of their bookings at any time by clicking on the ‘Your Account’ button in the top-right corner when logged in, followed by selecting ‘Your Activity Bookings’ from the options on the left side of the page.

If any young people and/or parents have any questions regarding the booking system, please don’t hesitate to contact us either through our YEPS Facebook page or the admin team can be contacted on 01443 744106.
