A Series of Unfortunate Events is a tv adaptation of the series of books by Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler). It follows three children who try and escape the many evil plots of their evil guardian Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris).

The three children are Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire – Violet is an inventor who throughout the series makes a tonne of different machines/devices to get the siblings out of some puzzling situations, there’s Klaus who enjoys reading which helps everyone from time to time and Sunny enjoys cooking which helps in it’s own way to be honest… everyone has to eat!

A Series of Unfortunate Events

They live in a mansion with their parents but one day disaster strikes and it’s left to the three children to investigate their mysterious death. To figure out who their parents are you’ll have to watch the film to the end, I don’t want to give too much away.

However they must try and outsmart Count Olaf at every turn who will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance, at every turn Count Olaf tries to trick the children with devious plans and disguises.

In my opinion this series is best described in three words: puzzling, funny and wacky. What I really enjoy is that there is always a problem to solve and it always looks like the situations are really hard to get out of… but you’ll be surprised what the three children can do when they’re working together

There is many episodes in this series to keep you busy, 25 in total. There’s 8 episodes in season 1, 10 in season 2 and 7 in the last season.

Before I forget, it can get a little bit gory but definitely fun to watch! I hope you consider watching it, you won’t be disappointed.
