Australia In Eurovision?!

I have great pleasure to announce Australia will be joining Europe in its annual song contest, Eurovision.

On Tuesday evening the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) revealed on its website, eurovision.tv, that Australia will be participating in the 60th edition of Eurovision; meaning there are now 40 participants as there were 39 countries originally participating this year.

Australia have been invited to the party celebrating 60 years as they have been celebrating Eurovision with us – by the broadcasters, SBS, in Australia broadcasting it for over 30 years.

But the question is: if Australia get lucky first time and win, what would they do?

So, tell me what you think of Australia joining the Eurovision song contest. Do you think Australia being in the contest is a great thing or a bad thing?
