International sport is about to descend on Great Britain with London 2012 fast approaching. Every one of these international sports stars started their sporting journey in grassroots, local opportunities. Sport is full of amazing people who work tirelessly, going out of their way to make a difference and provide these opportunities.

The Community Sports Awards, organised by Sport Rhondda Cynon Taf, recognise and reward the army of individuals who make an exceptional and essential contribution in keeping our sports clubs and organisations active, enabling them to go from strength to strength.

There are an army of individuals and groups who work behind the scenes, from sports coaches to private investors, from those who cut the grass to those who organise the fixtures. It is these people that we want to show our appreciation for and acknowledge at the awards ceremony.

There are a total of 8 categories for you to nominate in, these are: –

? Community Sport Club and School Partnership
? Community Innovation Project
? Sport Business Award
? Young Person’s Contribution to Sport
? Student Contribution to Sport
? Club Administrator
? Coach of the Year
? Unsung Hero
