TATL Games – a huge retro-gaming outfit led by qualified youth worker, Troy Wright

TechArts – an augmented reality business with awesome hitech kit to play with, led by its owner and software engineer, Gareth Mills Phillips

SavePoint – a ‘pay as you play’ social enterprise/youth group from Blackwood who will hopefully be bringing arcade games

GameForge – an emerging game creation business run by Lloyd Hawthorne who is a network engineer, builds and maintains PCs amongst other things! His kit allows you to scan images which then become part of games

Cardiff University STEM Ambassadors – supporting five mid Rhondda primary schools who have created websites and games around the ‘Love where you live’ theme (schools where they have introduced coding etc..)

University of South Wales –  Technocamps with their programmable Lego buggies

Candlhat and Webfibre – two businesses under the same management – presenting coding, programming and web jobs available in the area and promoting the Girls in Tech weekend they are hosting from Feb 21-24 in Llantrisant (15 – 30 age group) – more details to follow

Another newly formed small coding/tech business business

TechNation – a UK gov quango – who will bring business people from various sectors (tbc)

People & Work’s Digital Champion for Rhondda and Cynon – Ethan Jones, who will be showing off a Raspberry Pi 4’s capabilities
