I am slightly saddened after this semi final… 3 of my favourite countries didn’t get through to the final. Anyway, here is the running order of semi final 2:
01. Lithuania – qualified
02. Ireland
03. San Marino
04. Montenegro – qualified
05. Malta (my fave)
06. Norway (my fave) – qualified
07. Portugal
08. Czech Republic
09. Israel (least fave) – qualified
10. Latvia (fave) – qualified (thank God)
11. Azerbaijan – qualified
12. Iceland (fave)
13. Sweden – qualified (may as well be the big 5)
14. Switzerland (fave)
15. Cyprus (meh) – qualified
16. Slovenia (yes!) – qualified
17. Poland (love it) – qualified
So, now, the Grand final consists of 10 finalists from Semi Final 1 and 10 finalists from semi final 2 making 20. The list looks a bit like this:
Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.
But it’s not all doom and gloom is it? Right now the bookies favourite is Sweden, but I don’t think Sweden should win this year. The song is basically Avicii, but will Electro Velvet pull it off for the UK and will we get douze points?
