Ten young people (aged 16-20), with 2 Youth Leaders – Matthew Swarfield and Rachel Brydon – from RCT CBC Services for Young People, have just left their homes for Wolfenbuttel, Germany, to take part in our annual International Youth Exchange.

They will be joining 30 young people from France, Germany, and Poland, undertaking lots of intercultural activities, working on a Project based around the folktales and myths from each partner country, and of course having fun and making new friends!

The young people will work hard at the many meetings, workshops and activities which will take place over the course of the fortnight, including the intercultural aspect of the visit – with our own young people making sure their European friends enjoy a taste of Welsh food, music and traditions – and they will also be visiting many places of interest in the Wolfenbuttel area, including hiking in the beautiful Harz Mountains.
