SoundFest Events will be holding the Valleys SoundFest for the second year running with a different mix of genres from rock to indie, from acoustic to hip hop within a safe and family-friendly environment. This year’s festival will be held at Coleg y Cymoedd’s Llwynypia campus in aid of the Love, Hope, Strength charity; an international music-centric charity dedicated to providing support in cancer centres. The aim of the festival is to encourage people to sign up as a bone marrow donor in the RCT area.

The festival is to be headlined by Welsh comedy rap act, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, who will be performing a DJ set. Also set to perform at the event is four piece alt-rock act Mixalydia, who have been branded among ‘the top 40 bands to look out for in 2013‘ by WalesOnline.

Other acts to be performing sets are The Lash, Kyshera, Zac Vernon and Climbing Trees.

Tickets are now on sale for the festival which takes place in Coleg y Cymoedd’s Llwynapia campus on Saturday 7th June and are available to purchase here:
