RCT Detached Youth Work Team offers a unique form of engagement to support young people aged 11-25 years of age to develop their life skills and gain meaningful qualifications to support the progression into employment, further education and training.

The team uses principles and practices of informal education to engage young people in constructive dialogue, within a broad agenda of personal and social development.

Detached Youth Workers meet and interact with young people in a variety of locations from streets, cafes, and parks etc building trusting relationships to support young people’s needs and aspirations.

The team offer a wide variety of support to young people, from 121 sessions, Accredited Courses, Job Skills programmes, Sexual Health information, Personal and Social group work, Targeted referral work etc.

RCT Detached Youth Work Team is proud to work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary organisations to enhance opportunities available to young people within a collaborative approach.
