Risen 3: Titan Lords – Review

Overall, Risen 3 is a not so good game really. In my mind, the intro on how to move and all that good jazz was amazing, but it was the first level that got me asking ‘why?’

I thought it was going to be like Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, I suppose, sailing ships and raiding people, but the first level really put me off. The spells idea is really good – the parrot spell is really cool – but one thing i would suggest is that they could recharge the spell, because it was literally about 10-15 seconds of flying and then you had to glide so close to the floor that I had to turn back into a pirate.

I like most games but I really couldn’t get a hold of this game, I don’t know what it was about, the graphics were not as good as I feel it should be, the graphics are good don’t get me wrong, but they could be better. The animation for digging up treasure really could only be described as derpy, it is the character digging and then there is treasure in front of him. Like, what? How does that happen? I know it’s a game of magic and ‘pirating’ but how does digging, like, two inches make a chest appear?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this review and I will be reviewing some more games soon. Bye.
