If you are aged 11-25 and live in RCT you can be a part of our Community Safety Youth Forum and have fun by working on community projects and by supporting services tackling this key issue. You will also receive training that can help you gain vital skills for the future. Our forum believes that young peoples’ voices can be effectively used across a range of community safety services, and we will encourage the involvement of young people in community safety service development and improvement. Our forum will give young people the chance to discuss relevant issues, engage with decision makers and contribute to improving the lives of young people within their communities. We want all young people to feel safe in their homes, schools and communities and our forum will push forward to make this happen.
Please join us and YOU can have YOUR say on what happens when key decisions are being made where you live that impact on the safety of young people.
Read the report, feedback and briefing pack from the Young Voices project the youth forum have been involved in with the police and other partners.
